Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 is a control-leaning hybrid with a serious edge. It feels fast in the hand, stable when the point speeds up, and more forgiving than the more attack-first Vertex shapes.
I read it as a racket for advanced players who want precision first but still need enough punch to finish when the ball sits up. It does not play soft, and it does not hand you easy power. You have to hit through it.
Technical analysis
Shape & balance
The tear shape and the balance point give this racket a very usable middle ground. It is quicker than a pure diamond frame in transitions, and that shows immediately at the net and in defensive exchanges. I never felt like I was dragging it through contact.
What I like most is that it keeps the Vertex DNA without feeling overly front-loaded. You get enough presence above the shoulder for pressure, but the racket still changes direction well. That makes it easier to defend, volley, and reset the point without the frame fighting you.
Materials & construction
Bullpadel pairs Xtend Carbon 12K faces with a Carbono frame and a MultiEVA core, and the result is a medium feel that lands on the firmer side of comfortable. The impact is crisp. You know where the ball is leaving the stringbed, and the response is clean rather than mushy.
That construction also explains why the racket rewards proper timing. The sweet spot is generous for this class of racket, but this is still not a lazy hitter’s tool. Off-center contact is handled better than on previous, more attacking Vertices, yet clean technique still matters a lot if you want the racket to do its best work.
On-court feel
Baseline play
From the baseline, I found it reliable in blocks and in defensive lobs. The larger sweet spot helps when you are stretched or late, and the racket gives enough feedback to place the ball with intent. It is easier to trust than a more punishing power frame.
It does not give free depth. If your swing gets short, the ball can come off flatter than you want. I liked it more when I stayed active with my feet and prepared early. Then the response feels controlled and sharp.
At the net
This is where the Vertex 05 Hybrid feels most at home. Volleys come off stable and direct, with enough bite to keep pressure on the other pair. I also noticed how easy it was to keep the racket compact in fast exchanges without losing solidity.
The maneuverability really helps on reactions and on quick hands battles. It is not the kind of racket that overloads your wrist. That makes it easier to stay disciplined at the net instead of forcing winners.
Bandeja and víbora
I liked it a lot in bandeja and víbora. The clean feel helps you guide the ball, and the stability lets you accelerate without the face wobbling through contact. It encourages a faster, more decisive swing.
That said, it is not the most explosive option for players who want the ball to jump on its own. The racket rewards timing and placement more than brute force. If you want extra free finish, this is not the loudest answer.
Conclusion
The Bullpadel Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 sits in a very sensible place for advanced all-court players: stable, precise, quick enough to live at the net, and friendlier in defense than the harder Vertex variants.
What you give up is easy power and a plush feel. It can feel a bit firm if you prefer softer contact, and it asks for decent mechanics. If you meet it halfway, though, it gives you a sharp, controlled game with real confidence in the middle of the court and above it.
What other reviewers say
- padelracketreviews.comen
The Vertex 05 Hybrid 2026 stands out for maneuverability and precision: it is quick at net, reliable on volleys and bandejas, and the larger sweet spot makes it friendlier in defense than the diamond Vertexes. The tradeoff is that it still rewards clean contact and solid technique, so it is aimed at advanced players.
- r/Padelracketen
A player coming from the Nox AT10 describes it as more aerodynamic and harder, and says it is the best all-around racket he has tried. His view is that it feels more serious and less boring than the Nox, with no elbow issues for him.
- padel-passion.netfr
The review portrays it as a racket with a very good balance of power and precision, with a crisp, clean ball strike that encourages you to swing faster. It also highlights stability at the net and in defense, while noting that you need a decent technical level to get the most from it.

I really enjoy using this racket. It feels very comfortable in hand and is easy to maneuver, which makes control during rallies much better. The sweet spot is impressively large, so even off-center hits still feel solid and forgiving. However, the power could be better, as it doesn’t generate strong shots as easily as I expected. It also feels slightly heavy after extended play. Overall, it’s a great racket for control and consistency, but players who rely on power might need some adjustment.
Really good racket, but caused tennis elbow
