Oxdog Ultimate Pro Light 2026 is a fast attacking racket with a lighter feel than the usual diamond bruisers. It wants to live at the net, speed up the exchange, and punish clean contact without making your arm work overtime.
What I notice straight away is the combination of punch and quick handling. It still asks for proper technique, though. This is not a forgiving frame that covers up late preparation or lazy blocks.
Technical analysis
Shape & balance
The diamond shape gives the racket its attacking bias, and the balance sits in that zone where I can feel the head working for me on overheads without making the racket feel clumsy. It swings fast for a diamond. That matters because it changes the way the racket behaves in transition. I can get it up quickly for volleys and react without feeling like I’m dragging a club through the ball.
That said, the shape also brings a smaller effective hitting area than rounder or more all-court designs. When I catch the ball clean, the response is sharp and the ball comes off with intent. When contact drifts away from the center, the racket makes me pay for it.
Materials & construction
The fiberglass-free construction is all about firmness here: fibra de carbono in the frame, HES Carbon 8K on the faces, and an EVA Medium+ core. The feel lands in the Medium-Hard lane. Dry, crisp, and direct. That dry response is a big part of why the racket feels so quick in short exchanges.
I like the way the construction supports attacking shots without turning mushy under pressure. The downside is that it does not help much on passive contact. If your technique is sloppy, the racket won’t soften the blow for you. It’s stable enough for a light attacking model, but it’s not trying to be a wall.
On-court feel
Baseline play
From the baseline, I get a precise but demanding response. Defensive lobs come off well when I’m set early and use the racket properly. The ball exit is solid, not free. That means I can build points, but I have to work for depth rather than relying on trampoline effect.
On blocks and quick half-volleys, the racket feels stricter. If I’m late, it can sting a bit and the ball doesn’t always sit up kindly. That’s the trade-off: quick handling and control, but less forgiveness when the rally gets messy.
At the net
This is where the racket makes the most sense. Voleys are sharp, direct, and easy to accelerate. I can keep pressure on opponents in fast net exchanges without feeling like the racket is fighting me. The maneuverability really shows here; I can change direction fast and keep the pressure high.
It also has enough structure to stay honest when the pace rises. It doesn’t wobble much on firm contact, and that helps when I’m volleying under pressure or looking to close off the center.
Bandeja and víbora
These are probably the cleanest shots in its bag. The racket rewards a compact, fast overhead motion with strong output and a dry, controlled finish. My bandeja comes off with good depth and enough bite to keep opponents pinned back, and the víbora has that crisp, skidding feel that makes it effective without needing a full-blooded swing.
What I do not get is huge free power. I have to bring the technique, but when I do, the racket responds very well. That’s what makes it fun rather than easy.
Conclusion
I’d put this in the hands of players who attack often, live at the net, and already trust their timing. If you like a fast diamond racket but hate the fatigue and sluggishness that often come with that shape, this one makes a strong case.
The compromise is clear. The sweet spot is not generous, and the racket can feel harsh on off-center contact, especially in rushed defense. If your game depends on saving points with passive blocks and emergency touches, I’d look elsewhere. If you want speed, precision, and a lighter attacking feel, this one earns its place.
What other reviewers say
- padelracket.reviewen
The review paints it as a very fast attacking racket built for quick net exchanges and sharp acceleration. The trade-off is a demanding feel: it rewards clean contact and is unforgiving on off-center or passive shots.
- r/Padelracketen
The user test highlights a crisp feel and strong output on viboras and bandejas, with a solid overall balance. It also says the racket is harsh on half-volleys and fast blocks, where it gives little help if your preparation is late.
- r/Padelracketen
The comment emphasizes that the racket feels noticeably easier on the arm than heavier power models and that maneuverability is a major strength. The impression is that it lets the player keep attacking without the fatigue caused by heavier diamonds.
- PadelVerdicten
The verdict positions it as a clearly attacking racket with very high maneuverability and enough power for aggressive net play. Its main limitation is a small sweet spot, so it suits players with solid technique and reliable timing.

Very good lightweight diamond shaped racket. Comfortable to use after long session of games 4-6 hours per day, 3-4 times a week. No pain or strain although having aggresive playstyle. Power is okay, racket head speed (velocity?) is easy to generate ,control is good, sweet spot also great for a diamond shape racket. Balance is okay, have not tried removing the weight balancer. Solid 9.5/10
Coming from an adidas metalbone 2024 model to this... was a massive game changer! The Oxdog brand can be considered nerds of padel... highly technical build but excellent rackets. If and when you're read to move on to the next racket... make sure its this one.. or any of the Oxdog rackets will never leave you disappointed.
