Data Terms of Use

The rules for the use of Padelful data outside padelful.com: the free tier, the follow link rule and the paid tier.

Effective date:

1. Scope

These terms apply to each use of Padelful data outside padelful.com. Padelful data is the ratings, the sub-ratings, the review summaries, the specifications, the EANs, the lab measurements and the store prices that Padelful publishes. The terms apply to the partner API, to the MCP server, to the rating widget and to each copy of the data.

A partner is an organization that uses Padelful data under these terms. Each partner gets one partner key. Keep the key secret. Do not share it with another organization. Padelful counts the requests of each key.

2. The free tier

The free tier costs nothing. It gives:

  • These fields of each racket: the slug, the model, the brand, the rating, the sub-ratings, the short summary, the image, the review URL, the update date, the lab summary and the store prices as information.
  • 500 requests each day (UTC) and 120 requests each minute.
  • Pages of 50 rackets at most in the racket list, and only the first 200 results of the list. The detail of a racket by slug has no such limit.

You can show the free data on a commercial site or in a commercial app, if each use obeys the follow link rule (section 4). A request above the day limit gets the answer 429 until the next day.

3. The paid tier: the Partner plan

The Partner plan costs 49 € each month or 490 € each year. It gives:

  • All the fields of the free tier.
  • The full specifications, the EANs (only real values), the full lab dataset and the price history.
  • The bulk list: the full list, in pages of up to 2,000 rackets.
  • 50,000 requests each day (UTC) and 120 requests each minute.
  • A licence to use the data in your own product, for example to filter your products or to match them by EAN.
  • For a store: a monthly report of your price position in your country, and a report of your coverage and of the clicks that Padelful sends to you.

Each page, screen or widget that shows Padelful data must also show:

  • The attribution text of the response, for example "Rating and review by Padelful".
  • A visible link to the review URL of the response (attribution.url).

The link must be a normal link that search engines can follow. Do not add rel="nofollow" and do not hide the link. In an app, a tap on the attribution must open the review. This rule applies to the free tier and to the paid tier.

5. What is not permitted

  • Do not sell, rent or sublicense Padelful data, alone or as part of a dataset.
  • Do not publish an API, a dataset or a download that gives Padelful data to other organizations.
  • Do not change a rating or a sub-rating, and do not show Padelful data as your own data.
  • Do not use more than one key, or the key of another organization, to pass a limit.

6. Prices

Store prices are information only. Each price comes from a store, and the store can change it at any time. Padelful does not sell rackets and does not guarantee a price. Padelful sorts store prices by price only. Money does not change a rating, a review or the order of the stores.

7. Changes and the end of access

Padelful can change these terms and the limits. We tell each partner with a key 30 days before a change. Padelful can revoke a key that breaks these terms. A revoked key gets the answer 401 at once.
