I honestly don't understand how these Head reviews are always so high. This racket definitely has huge power, especially on flat smashes - on that, it's a 10/10. But the Power Foam absolutely does NOT have the control of other brands like Dropshot or Bullpadel with the Eva 30. So it lacks control, at least for a 4th category player and above (not for a beginner/amateur). From the baseline it's a very complex racket to use because it's so head-heavy, almost like a hammer on the head. For the same reason, it's definitely not easy to use for wall exits and for viboras. So again, I don't get why the ratings are always so inflated. *My personal ratings:* *Power: 10 / 10* *Control: 6.5 / 10* *Maneuverability: 6 / 10* I use regularly many rackets.. Almost all the top model of drop shot like Explorer attack etc.. BP hack and vertex 05/06.. And also Urich brand which is much better and probably one of the best in. Term of spin together with the vertex model

I've had the chance to try two Vertex 05, I still own one. Coming from rackets like the Dropshot Explorer Attack, Pablo Lima's Canyon Pro, and having also tested Urich rackets etc.. Etc.. I expected much more from this racket. It's a formidable racket at the net, but the positives end there. It's not powerful at all, at least the two I tried. The balance feels a bit lower than declared and the weight is around 371g. They are not bad for kick-smash and overhead shots, but I expected a lot more power. The main issue is the lack of ball output, especially because it's Multi-EVA. From the back of the court it doesn't help you much. Many times it's like you don't hit the sweet spot and the ball just dies into the net without understanding why. In the end, in this kind of category, a racket like the *Urich Draft* with its Eva 30 Pro is much more consistent and generates more spin. And if I have to choose a racket that is not that powerful in attack, the Urich Draft completely outclasses the Vertex in the defensive phase and on wall exits..
