Oxdog Pure Pro+ 2026

The Oxdog Pure Pro+ 2026 is a control-first racket with real bite. It feels firm, precise, and unusually forgiving for something with a hard personality and a round shape.

I see it as a racket for players who want to place the ball, not just survive the point. It gives you a lot back when your swing is clean. If you get lazy or rush contact, it asks for more than a softer frame would.

Technical analysis

Shape & balance

The round shape sets the tone immediately: this is about order, not chaos. The sweet spot is huge for a racket with this kind of feel, and that changes the whole experience. I can be late on a few balls and still find a usable response, which is rare in a firmer setup.

Balance is kept sensible, so it never feels like a club at the net. That helps in quick exchanges and on reaction volleys, where I want the frame to stay out of the way. Still, this is not a free-power racket. If you want easy depth from half-swings, you’ll notice the difference fast.

Materials & construction

The combination of Fibra de carbono in the frame, HES Carbon on the faces, and EVA Hard in the core gives it a crisp, direct response. The feel is firmly Hard, and that matters on every contact. Ball exit is clean, but not lazy. You have to earn pace.

That construction also explains why the racket feels so stable. It holds its line well on blocks and punchy volleys, and the frame does a good job of keeping the response consistent even when the pace rises. The downside is obvious: short swings don’t get much extra help. If the stroke is abbreviated, the racket won’t rescue you.

On-court feel

Baseline play

From the back of the court, this racket is very precise. Defensive lobs come off with good height control, and chiquitas are easy to place where I want them. Blocks are especially strong because the face stays stable and the sweet spot is forgiving enough to absorb pressure.

What it does not do is hand you free depth. On tired legs or rushed contacts, the ball can die a little. I had to stay active with my preparation and use a proper swing length to get the most out of it. When I did, the response was excellent.

At the net

This is where the Pure Pro+ feels fastest. In volleys, the racket is sharp and very predictable. I could redirect pace, close angles, and keep the ball low without fighting the frame. In fast hands exchanges, that firmness actually helps, because the racket responds immediately instead of wobbling.

It is also very good when I want to pressure with controlled aggression. The ball exits cleanly, but it never feels wild. That makes it easy to stay compact near the net and still hit with intent.

Bandeja and víbora

On overhead setup shots, the racket is comfortable as long as I commit to the swing. The firmness gives me direct feedback and good direction, which helps a lot on bandejas that need placement more than violence. I can keep the ball deep and awkward for the opponent.

With víboras, it offers enough bite to accelerate through the ball, but only if the contact is clean. Short or lazy actions flatten out quickly. This is a racket that rewards technique more than effort.

Conclusion

I’d put this in the hands of players who value control, stability, and a big margin for clean striking. It suits someone who defends well, likes to play at the net, and wants a racket that stays precise under pressure.

The trade-off is clear. You give up easy ball output and some forgiveness on sloppy contact. If your technique is still developing, the hard feel can feel demanding. If you swing properly, though, it gives you a very serious level of control with more punch than the first impression suggests.

What other reviewers say

  1. Padelfulen

The Pure Pro+ 2026 is portrayed as a serious control racket: its hard feel and unusually large sweet spot help place the ball precisely, especially in defense and quick net exchanges. In return, it demands a clean swing and is less forgiving than softer models when contact is late or abbreviated.

  2. Padelfules

The Pure Pro+ 2026 comes across as an all-in control racket with a little extra punch when you accelerate properly. Its main strengths are stable precision on lobs, blocks, and volleys, but it does not give free ball output if your technique and swing length are lacking.
